Garrett MurrayLEAD analystGarrett Murray is a Wichita Falls native and a member of the final graduating class of Rider High School in 2024. A valuable part of the Memorial Mavericks Sports Network team, Garrett provides insight, analysis, and play-by-play coverage while bringing a unique perspective to Maverick athletics.
Garrett comes from a family deeply rooted in the Wichita Falls community and is passionate about serving others through ministry. He plans to pursue a calling to share the Gospel, beginning in Wichita Falls and wherever God may lead him in the future. |
Charlie McBrideproducerCharlie McBride is a Wichita Falls native and a 2018 graduate of Rider High School, where he was a two-sport varsity letterman and member of the Pride of the Raiders Drumline. He earned degrees from Texas Tech University and Midwestern State University.
Charlie serves as producer of the Memorial Mavericks Sports Network, leading social media, content development, and behind-the-scenes operations. He lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and works for Core-Mark International in Westlake, Texas. |
SCOTT FELDMAN
ANALYST
Scott Feldman, known to Maverick fans as “The Coach,” begins his third season as the Memorial Mavericks Sports Network Baseball Color Commentator, Analyst, and Insider. Feldman brings more than 30 years of baseball experience to the broadcast booth, providing expert analysis, player development insight, and a coach’s perspective on the game.
Most recently, Feldman served as the Director and Head Coach of Texoma Baseball in Wichita Falls from 2019-2024. During that time, more than 13 Texoma Baseball players advanced to the collegiate level. The program trained at Falls Baseball Academy, where Feldman continues to provide instruction and lessons to players of all ages, helping young athletes develop their skills while sharing his passion for the game.
Prior to moving to Wichita Falls, Feldman was the Head Baseball Coach at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, an NCAA Division II program, and also coached in Virginia’s prestigious Valley Baseball League. In 2005, he led Clarion to its first PSAC-West Championship in more than two decades, earning PSAC-West Coach of the Year honors and the Louisville Slugger Championship Award. Feldman remains the winningest baseball coach in Clarion University history and was nominated for the university’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2025. Throughout his collegiate coaching career, he helped develop more than 20 players who went on to play professional baseball.
Away from the diamond, Feldman serves as a Professor of First-Year Studies at Midwestern State University and as Assistant Director of the Tutoring and Academic Support Programs Department. He and his wife, Christina, reside in Wichita Falls with their daughter, Addi, and son, Austin, a current baseball player at Vernon College.
